Air Bubble Remover for Hobby Ceramic Masses
You can easily and quickly eliminate air bubbles with this manual vacuum pump and valve.
The bubbles are generated by mixing the ceramic suspension and remain there for a long time. The worst case is when they get stuck forever in the casted item.
Good news is that you can exempt your compound from all of these in a simple mason jar that you can vacuum by hand. Otherwise, the air inclusions can damage your masterpiece during the burning process. Because they can crack the pottery as a result of the heat.
Furthermore, storing the mass under a vacuum for later use is also advisable.
This prevents water from evaporating so that you will keep the identical viscosity and characteristics for the long term.
The casting vacuum tool includes:
- 1 vacuum pump (173 cm3)
- 15 vacuum valves for mason jars
That can be used to create a vacuum in a larger size (even 5 litres) jars.
As a result of the vacuum, air bubbles are removed faster from the ceramic slip.
Rest of them can be stored in an airtight environment to preserve the original water-ceramic proportion, and quality for later use.
