We use Revell metal paint where we want to get the effect of some metal back.


This happens quite often, e.g. in the manufacture of aircraft, aluminium was prevalent, so silver was essential in its mock-up version.


In the same way, the use of iron in mechanical engineering (cars, boats, etc.) is still indispensable today, and so is the iron or steel-like paint used to imitate it.


In addition to the gold, copper or bronze version of Revell metal, it can also be used in the production of other hobby products and jewellery, thus giving metallic effects to the piece cast from the synthetic resin.


When using metallic stains, pay special attention to the preparation of the surface because any small defects and scratches can be seen due to the nature of the paint.

The same colour is available on oil and acrylic base. The price of the two types is practically the same, as the 18-gram Revell metal Aqua is much more expensive, which is justified by the larger quantity.
