Elfenbein Harz's ivory resin is very similar to Pentart Ivory resin.
The two components are to be mixed in a 1: 1 weight ratio (20:19 volume ratio). The mixture is poured into the mould within 8-10 minutes and settled in the decor pattern.
After 30-40 minutes, the soft material can be removed and sliced, cut, bent, and so on for your sake. Just like Ivory resin.
The Elfenbein Resin hardens completely in 90 minutes. After that, you won’t be able to format them by hand any longer.
Maybe there is just one thing the Pentart Ivory Resin and Elfenbein Harz differ.
The colour. The Elfenbein is slightly dimmer in colour, close to white.
But the following characteristics are the same:
- Field of application. Jewellery making, 3D decoration items, handles, knobs, furniture buttons, scrapbook or mixed media accessories.
- It can be cast into silicone moulds
- Quick hardening: 10 minutes, but still flexible to shape for about 30 min.
- Can be coloured with acrylic paint, spray paint or texture spray
- You can give a metallic appearance to the piece using metal powders
- You can antique them with pastes
- Unfortunately, both resins (Elfenbein Harz and Ivory) are moisture-sensitive.
Therefore, we offer an excellent packaging method for it:
- which helps to keep the resin airtight,
- provides perfect dosing without using any other measuring device
- you don’t need to throw away the packaging because it can be
- used for dispensing later
- no material is wasted because the entire resin can be used.
- no leftover remains in the package.
